Assets
Assets are central to Notifense and are linked to an asset in your application.
Tiers
When creating an asset, a service tier must be specified. Notifense defines two tiers; a Basic and a Premium tier.
Assets in the Basic tier support a limited number of event types. Assets in the Premium tier support all event types.
The supported event types in the Basic tier are:

Active assets
An asset is active when it is created or when it is reactivated. Active assets will be billed at the end of the month. If an asset is deactivated, it remains active until the end of the calendar month it was deactivated in, and will be billed at the end of that month.
Asset groups
Asset groups can be created through the API. Assets can be linked to them by setting their asset group ID. Asset groups can be used to represent a customer or tenant in your application.
