# Assets

Assets are central to Notifense and are linked to an asset in your application.

## Tiers

When creating an asset, a service tier must be specified. Notifense defines two tiers; a `Basic` and a `Premium` tier. Assets in the `Basic` tier support a limited number of event types. Assets in the `Premium` tier support all event types.

The supported event types in the `Basic` tier are:

| Type | Name                   |
| ---- | ---------------------- |
| `3`  | Battery low            |
| `5`  | Movement (started)     |
| `6`  | Movement stopped       |
| `9`  | Geofence entered       |
| `10` | Geofence exited        |
| `17` | Tampering              |
| `18` | Country border crossed |
